Tom this is one reason why i dont like to get materials from auto part stores, because sometimes they have this but maybe not that of the same brand, well you know what i mean, right? i like to order from a supplier because you can get your favorite brand of compound, polish and wax and so forth. also dont get all caught up in that product #1 #3 #6#7 system its all just to confusing. its really aby Henry Z - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts

well its true you havnt mentioned if your expirience with detailing equipment such as a high speed buffer, if your not ready to use a high speed buffer then take it to a pro detailer, i say this because sure you can just cover them up for the meantime with wax or polish or glaze , but thats only for a while by hand, but if you want them to be gone for good then you will have to polish them out wiby Henry Z - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
i agree with jackimoe, why and who suggested that you use a brush to wash your car? keep brushes to any other areas except the paint, lolby Henry Z - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
hi there everyone, i just have to say something about this clay bar we are talking about. i think its a detailers choice product. i love using it , infact i feel without it then your not doing it right! never polish or forsure wax your car without clay baring it first. i prefer using a lubricant called "paint gloss, or another called quick detailer" so even though the clay bar itself iby Henry Z - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts

waterspots in my opinion are the worst! a car can be totally detailed but if the windows are spotted then to me that just ruins the whole detail. so before we think of getting rid of them, its good to know how to prevent them, i know evryone has there advice so ill name just a few. a car should NEVER be washed outside on a hot sunny day. also the type of water being used, theres such a thing as sby Henry Z - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
its true that you really should know what type of material you are working on, but one saying is that if your not sure what it exactly is use the least aggressive, if your not sure its plastic or leather treat it as leather. but your sure bet is to first find out what it is, even if you have to ask the dealership where you bought it from. also theres a saying that you should with any cleaner tryby Henry Z - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
you know what that would be a EXCELLENT ideal to hold a detailing class, teaching the dos and donts of detailing, but there was one thing that caught my eye and thats when you said your a better salesman than detailer, well i think it should be that your a better detailer than salesman. why dont you invite an actual detailer to run the show. but never the less its a great ideal.by Henry Z - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
well lets take one questoin at a time......trying to bring back any paint job from the dead is impossible to be done by hand, you would need to use that famous high speed buffer to remove that dead paint (fade). for sure you would need to use compound with a high speed buffer and work your way down. after using a compound then theres also polish and ofcourse paint sealant which works better thenby Henry Z - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
well to answer the original question on not buffing certain cars because of their exotic make........buffing is not something you should just do, buffing is a serious matter and should not be use even on a old pinto just for the hell of it, unless your just practicing. i reccomend mastering the buffing technique before applying it to any car. if you can always try to hand do everything. also knby Henry Z - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
