I wanna sell this thing. I dont know about the carbs i just need to get rid of it. I tried selling it on here before and i just got lazy and never got it done. If you want pictures let me know i can get some and send them to you. The manifold is a 66 The carbs are believed to be rebuilt they are clean and the jets look brand new i might be able to take one apart for you to see. The thing is i donby Lance Q - Pontiac GTO Forum

Assuming it is a real GTO RAM AIR IV convertable. That car is definetly worth some bucks you do need to check all the documents including the PHS and numbers on the block. I know that 1964 through 67 GTO's had post coupes available. Anything after that i am not sure of. Lemans GTOs and Tempests could all be order with a hardtop rag top or a pilar/post top. Lanceby Lance Q - Pontiac GTO Forum

I highly doubt you could get a numbers matching car with a really good body for 9. My opinion but looking at the market i dont see how it could be done unless you found a buyer that had to get rid of the car that instant. Good luck. Lanceby Lance Q - Pontiac GTO Forum

The powerglide is not a bad transmission. It has two speeds. Fast and really fast.=). But i wouldnt put a 4 speed in it. Find a TH400 and put that in. The trans is bullet proof and is alot easier to find than all the parts it would take to make the car a 4 speed. And you can get them with a shift kit already in them. Good luck. This really isnt a tech question but just an info one. What is so special about the Ram Air V? I here about it from time to time and i hear that it was a great motor. Hey I am in southern California. Just to let ya know. Down here we keep our cars rust free and stuff, all you easterners are constantly robbing our state of them=). My little sister has a 67 Camaro and I have a 67 GTO, she loves her Camaro but she loves the GTO more. Go with the Goat, they are rarer and are more fun to drive. How much of the quarter panel do you need? Original Parts group carries quarter panels but they do not encompass the jamb. Do you just need the lower patch or which part?by Lance Q - Pontiac GTO Forum

letter codes are not always accurate. Pontiac often used the same letter code twice. Its hard to verify if the motor because of the exhaust manifolds are on the car. Below the drivers side head behind the exhaust manifold is a stamping of either 326 350 389 400 421 428 or 455. Thats the best way to find out. Maybe you could use a mirror. Hope this info can help. Since this site is full of opinions I am going to offer another. Dont break the VIN rivets. Buy a parts car and make the Judge work. Roof and all. Once the rivets are broken there is no way to say that particular car is a judge or not. So make it work. Again thats just my opinion. Where are you located. I cant help you but I can confirm it is true. I have a 67 GTO with a 400 and i always have problems starting it when i run it for long distances. The 1967 GTO!!! Coke bottle curves, stainless steel mesh grill, high rocker skirts, stacked headlights, 4 pod dash layout and just an all around good looking car. To me anything after 67 all looked the same. The GTO Chevelle 442cutlas and the skylark all looked similar after 1967 so in my opionion the 67 was the last year the GTO really had its on look to where nothing else even remotley resembelby Lance Q - Pontiac GTO Forum

64 and 65 both had the 237 sufficx. Every GTO after 65 had the 242 suffix until 1971 or 72 when it reverted back to a 237 suffix. Hope this cleares up anything. Lanceby Lance Q - Pontiac GTO Forum
