1970 gto 455 heads - 20 years ago

I am confused, please help. I am having my heads redone and had 2 bad exhaust valves. I took the machine shop 2 NOS valves (9799367) and they are shorter than the valves in the heads. What is going on? What is the correct length of the valves for the 70, 455 heads, casting number 64. Can anybody help? Thanks Steve

Hi, what is the engine code? It is located on the passenger side of the block in the front just below the head, it should be 2 letters and then some numbers. What is the price? Thanks Steve
