Have you checked this thread yet? What is the year of the Vespa 400 that you purchased?by Junior - Vespa Microcar Forum
The last one I seen was on a TV show called American Pickers they found an Ape in some guys barn. Your best bet would be to get on different Vespa Ape forums, and if your lucky you will probably run into someone selling one. Every time I check Ebay all I find is parts for the Ape. Good luck on your Ape searchby Junior - Vespa Microcar Forum
How is the restoration going, my restore is almost complete. Micro Carlot is an excellent site, another good place for parts is www.vespanormsparts.com Norm's got some hard to find parts on there for great prices. Robbie NCby Junior - Vespa Microcar Forum
Hey Steve how is the rebuild going? When I started my Vespa 400 rebuild the body was in pretty good shape just some rust here and there. I did have to completely overhaul the engine; it was seized up when I got it. I have been working on it for almost 2 years and entering the final stretch now. Good luck to you on your rebuild, look forward to following your posts.by Junior - Vespa Microcar Forum
