Newbie Question..

<HTML>What would be the steps to a car look like new if a person came with a car that looks dull and dirty and wants it detailed so it looks good again? I am a little confused about all the steps may you guys help me with what you would do besides charging them a good chunk of change for it. Thanks for your help.</HTML>

Some basics
1. Work with only a clean surface(use clay bar, or other light cleaner)
2. Stay away from dressings that clean while "nurishing"
3. This is a broad statement, but only use products for what they are intended for. Just look at the post about the stained wheels, perfect example.
4. Practice buffing on a black junkyard panel and try to get a perfect finish.
These are things you will learn more in detail as you go, unless you find some good detailers in your area you can make friends with and swap ideas. Just some suggestions for now, take care!!</HTML>
