best lighting

i am turning my work shop into a detailing shop and i was wondering what kind of lights you fellows use ?are some lights better for detailing then others ? like halogen compared to floresent...is there a big difference ?

Mark, I use a combination of floresent and high intensity lighting. I set up 4 double bulb 8 footers side by side closer to the cars. (I hate lights way up in the air) In addition I got a reflective (500 watts) on a stand which I can direct at the trunk or hood. Then I have two floor refelctive lights 500 watts each....It looks like Las Vegas in my shop (less the dancing girls) Its perfect.
