Water condensation stain removal

<HTML>I've got a challenge here! Have a real pristine 1980 Toyota Corona LE sedan, in show room condition, that owner wants to sell. A very beautiful car, but inside it has a small problem with water mark stains in fabric headliner, near the rear window, that got wet from condensation forming on underside of roof and dripping down on the cloth liner. Anyone have an idea on how to remove these stain marks, in just 2 small areas (about 6 inch diameter), without wrecking the entire headliner itself?</HTML>

<HTML>Water stains are next to impossible to remove. Best bet would be to use foaming carpet cleaner and gently spread and agitate. If you don't have foaming cleaner, try shaving cream. Tell the guy you can fade it but complete removal is near impossible.</HTML>

Take care,

<HTML>You can safely clean headliners by spraying a water-based cleaner onto a lint-free towel and rubbing it briskly on he headliner, then rubbing again with a dry towel. Surgical towels work great; so do microfiber towels. Never spray the headliner directly or you will risk releasing the glue that holds it up. I would try a fabric shampoo or all-purpose cleaner. If those don't work, maybe try an all-purpose stain spotter.</HTML>
