Hydraulic motorcycle stands

<HTML> Does anybody else us motorcycle stands for detailing bikes?
Had to do 4 custom bikes today for a client and used my new stand. These things are a great asset for detailing bikes as you can move the wheels, clean the underside ,etc i have had a boom in doing bikes since harleys 100th anniversary last year. I use a commercial vapor steam machine to clean the bikes and it is a real money maker! worth the 2 grand i payed for it 3 years ago.</HTML>
<HTML>I have detailed a few motorcycles, however I usually spend about five to six hours per bike, at a cost of about $250 per bike.

Just wondering about what you include in you bike detailings and about how much you charge per bike.</HTML>

<HTML>frank...my price for bikes is the same $200 mininmum, mostly $ 250.me and one worker takes 3 hours.no part goes untouched, seat and side panels get removed, saddle bags too,if they have them.one tip for anyone detailing bikes, put a screw in the trans vent tube (harleys only),preveting any water to mix with trans fluid.also cover the air cleaner with plastic when washing....thx drew</HTML>

<HTML>I have done quite a few and never take more than 2 to 3 hours
My rate varies on how much biz they do with me, loaction etc.
40 to 50 an hour now .all referall work ,no cheapos.... you get what you pay for.
Nothing overlooked, the steamer is the key...., dissolves bugs on windsheilds with out scratching the surface cleans where you can,t by hand etc. Cuts time in half....superior results

With the stand you can get the underneath much easier, the wheels spin freely, no moving the bike back and forth waisting time.

I also do a lot of maintenance bikes every 2 weeks for yuppies with multiple vehicles as well .The rich like their toys... and will pay.</HTML>

<HTML>I quoted a price of $140 also but have to wait until the guy gets back from keeping the Taliban in line at Guantanamo Bay. He's in the Guard and got called to corrections there. He thought the price was reasonable as well as I. Looks like I should get that jack. We have a Sam's up here too.</HTML>
