<HTML>I'll be staying at the Mariott San Antonio River Centre and my buddy Greg from Classic Appreciation in Detroit will probably be coming down too. Hopefully we can all get together for some dinner. The meetings Greg, Bud and I had in Detroit in January were very productive.</HTML>

<HTML>Looking forward to gathering, sharing and having a great time with detail professionals from accross the world! It's always great interacting with people that treat our industry professionally. This is the place to be if you are serious about detailing as a business.</HTML>

<HTML>Glad to see that many of you will be attending the Car Care World Expo.

Be sure to attend the Detailing Track Seminars, they will be very valuable to all of you in the detailing business.

There is a good one on marketing that I will be moderating, but put on by a Marketing expert and consultant, Matt Yubas who has written a great book, "Product Idea to Product Success."

While the title deals with a specific product, you can just as well insert, Service and relate the information to detailing.

He will be very interesting and informative.

Also doing a Seminar on calculating your Cost of Doing Business and how to come up with an Hourly Business Rate.

There is another on how to best deal with Auto Dealers by Dave Echenoz who operates a large detailing center and automatic carwash facility for an auto dealer group. He is really in the know on how dealers think and what they want and expect. He can give you some great incites on how to approach and get top dollar from dealers.

There are a couple of technical seminars on interior cleaning and paint finishing processes.

Well worth the time and investment.

Come by our booth would love to meet you all personally and chat about the industry and your particular needs.

Regards
Bud Abraham</HTML>

<HTML>Jim, three blocks, east of the River Walk enterance, not the Marriott, but the Best Western, not the bad, very good, really, stayed there last fall, if any rooms left, save about $150 a night.

The LaQuinta, which is just outside the Marriott, is within $20 a night of it, and the Marriott is is $100 a night more than it was 5 years ago.

Give me call if you got a question.

<HTML>Do you mean have some there for sale?

No, we don't carry items for sale to a show, other than what we may be demoing- like the ETR kit, will have the 30X magnifiers but that's it.

We are introducing a new brand at the show, developed for carwashes and detailers, that is a new profit center for both.

Just have the ETR there as two new Technical Service Bulletins are being issued for it by two vehicle manufacturers, thought it best to show everyone, hands on, how it works, the results.

<HTML>Ron,

Yeah for sale at the show but now I can see you're not. I'll need to have your company mail me a catalog. I have heard alot about those pads and would like to try one out.

I have been testing out for Irene at Top Of The Line the new Lake Country wool/microfiber pads. Very nice pads, little to no lint, an almost swirl free finish and they seem to clean up easier. I would like to see how a lambswool pad finishes out.

I also need a new paint gauge, mine is toast. I'll be interested to see the ETR demo.

Thanks,
Anthony</HTML>

I should sign up for your class in Ohio. It would be cheaper with 10 times the info.</HTML>

<HTML>Hang on, Tim and I are discussing the offering of a special TPD/
PDTA only class later this year.

Drop the fee to either nothing or just a token.

Will have to be limited to 6 attendees though.

And must be not only a paid member of the PDTA, but a listed TPD as well.

What you think about that Joe?

<HTML>Good morning to all my auto detailing homies

I have a quick question about the car care world expo; where will it be held at and what goes on at the expo?

<HTML>LT:

The Car Care World Expo will be held in San Antonio, Texas next week April 7th thru the 9th. It is sponsored by the International Carwash Association.

There is first a trade show with about 400 large and small exhibitors.

While many of these exhibitors are carwash equipment companies there are also numerous detail equipment, supply and other related cosmetic car care companies exhibiting their products.

There are about 5 to 6 seminars regarding specific aspects of auto detailing, some technical some about running a detail business.

There are also two networking breakfasts devoted only to detailing where you sit at tables with a moderator and other detailers to discuss different things.

It is reallly a great place to be for a detailer if only to network with other detailers from around the country.

If you want more specific information go on line and type in Car Care World Expo and you will find all the information you need and the options on how to register.

<HTML>Made sure one of each of the pads was on the pallet.

I get in Tue. late, as that's the only non stop I could get.

If you are in town then, give me a call, I'm at the Best Western on Commerce.
