Boat detail- UUGH!

<HTML>In over 20 years of detailing I have detailed two boats and don't like 'em. I am too fat to get under them, fiberglass and the type of interiors are alien to me.

That said, I have to do one. I have a new client that has a number of vehicles, an RV and this BOAT to detail. It is an all or nothing deal.

How many hours can I expect to put into 20 foot boat detail???
Please let me know a high and a min. time frame .

Please oh please!!!!!!!!</HTML>

<HTML>Joe,

For a 20 foot boat on the trailer, you can expect to put in between 6-8 hours, approximately -- just by yourself. This includes interior too: carpet shampooing and extraction...vinyl care, glass, etc.

Why don't you like boats?</HTML>

<HTML>Anytime. Price range sounds perfect -- mine for a complete detail on a 20 ft. boat is $280.00 ballpark.

Goodluck and enjoy!</HTML>

<HTML>Joe, I would not even play around with products either. Just get the products designed for gelcoat and forget the normal car care products. I learned the hard way and now only use the 3m boat cleaner wax.

<HTML>Dan,

I use Meguiars line of boat/RV products ( blue bottles) on all the RV and travel trailers we do with SUPERIOR results.

Thanks for the tip just the same.</HTML>
