I own an original euro Mercedes 280E. But the previous owner got wax all over the rubber trim. how do I get it off without damaging the rubber?

i`ve found glass cleaner can work well and sometimes i`ll use a liquid spray wax. the spray wax can soften the old wax allowing you to hopefully remove the old wax.

BELIEVE IT OR NOT I USE A SMALL PORTION OF PEANUT BUTTER AND MASSAGE IT IN AREA WITH MY FINGER. THEN I USE CLEAN CLOTH TO REMOVE . NEVER COMES BACK.
