There are a number of things you can do to get business from other businesses, it depends on the type of business you are trying to solicit how you approach them.

When you say "approach businesses" what kind of businesses? Auto dealers? Fleets? Taxi companies? Distribution companies? Lawyers offices? Doctors clinics? Large corporations?

Each has their own particular way of being approached.

You ought to consider joining the INTERNATIONAL DETAILING ASSOCIATION a community of some of the most successful detailers in the country and once a member of the IDA community they will you if you ask. Dues are only $50 per year. Go to www.the-ida.com to learn about us and to join.

We have a lot of information available on how to market and promote your detail business available to members.

Do you have a business plan? Are you mobile or do you have a fixed location?

Regards
