How many of you detailers out there are doing Headlight Restoration? Are you using a sand and buff system or a chemical system?

What are the results? What do you charge per headlight?

Anyone interested in a complete sand and buff system?

We use 2 type of systems one a sand, buff and coat which we call temporary as it will oxidize over time. The rate of oxidation will depend on type of plastic lens and we are seeing 2+ years on many. We have a starting range of 85.00 up to 100 for a pair.

The second type is sand and spray on permanent epoxy coating meaning lens will not oxidize and that service has a starting range of 135.00 up to 200.00.

We have tried a lot of products and systems and like these two the best at present.
