SPENDING on GOODS vs SPENDING on SERVICES

A good friend of mine in the industry pointed out an article that points out why the detail business might be suffering today more than before.

It points out that in difficult economic times the spending on products tends to bounce back faster than spending on services, but in today's economic climate the disparity seems to be worse.
