New Car Paint Protection

We have just purchased a new car and want to apply a wax or sealant to the paint. What product is the best for a first time wax/sealant/protection job? Thanks for your help.

First, look on the inside of the door and see when the production date was. If at least 6 weeks have passed you can go ahead and protect the finish. Although you will find opinions will vary on this, I prefer to use a sealant on a new car. Finish first is a good one. Check out their web site(www.finishfirst.com) You can buy it for about 20 bucks and do it yourself, rather than paying the dealer $300.00

The plate says the car was built 11/1.
