Help me price this 65....

I've been looking at an absolute cherry 65 Tempest and had a few questions.

It is an all original Teal on Teal with the 215 6 with a powerglide, bench seat, power nothing. The guy wants 9000 for it..... Is it worth 9?

I've been thinking about buying it and driving it as is for a couple years until I can afford to build the engine it deserves, and the 6 should do nicely for that time. If I throw in a big engine am I going to have to do front suspension work, differential, will I need a new steering linkage or anything like that? Basically what I'm wondering is if I get this car do I have to replace everything to put big power in it.

Unless it's a drop top, it's more than a bit overpriced if you ask me. I just saw a sweet '65 Lemans--completely restored--3speed manual/326 for sale online the other night somewhere in Montana for $9k.
