looking for lemans trunk emblem...very important!!!

my dad has been looking for it for years with no luck....if anyone has ANY idea of where to locate on i will owe you my life...if i suprise my dad with this he might let me drive it!!! yeah right

what year is the car? Does the emblem say Pontiac or Lemans?

so the emblem goes across the whole trunk? I looked in my magazines and didnt find anything for a 72 lemans...sorry
If i knew what the emblem said it would help more...
