I HAVE A 66 GTO CONV WITH A 326 POWERGLIDE 2;73 GEARS ALL STOCK WITH A 4 BARRELL PSTEERING PBRAKES JUST A CRUSER. I WAS WONDERING WHAT WOULD BE THE BIGGEST CAM I COULD GO WITH JUST FOR A LOOPEY IDLE JUST FOR SOUND? thanks for the help

i like the 268 H 272 h isky's or comp cam same thing, give's alround torque lowend etc and kicks in around 2000-2500 rpm and good up 7000 a very nice idle not stock lumpy not chopy.smile hope this help's remember to change you'r lifter's,,roads hyd,anti pop up's A hydrolic cam and lifter's wont float at high RPM's, and you can get away with stock converter,better if 3spd,or 4spd.
