Correct Ram Air III Pull Location?

I have been looking at pictures of dashes all over the place, trying to determine the correct location for the bracket and knob for the Ram Air III pull cable. The closest I have come is in the GTO Restoration Guide where I think I see it to the left of the ashtray, mounted on the bottom of the dash.

Can somebody please tell me where this is supposed to go?

I just found another picture with the knob directly below the steering column, centered with the column.

the knob on the Cigar lighter is exactly above the knob on ram air pull they line up exactly,,,I look'd at my friend's 69 ram air that's the orig,location hope this help's you Travis
