RAM AIR V

has anyone ever heard of this option or aftermarket sold over the counter?

Typically dealer ordered and installed. There are rumors that there were some that were put together at Pontiac as well, which I am sure is true., for R&D. However, none rolled off the line with a RA V that I have ever learned of.

I currently own a Ram Air V 400 in a Firebird. To my knowledge the Ram Air V was never installed by the factory in any car that was sold to the public.

Glen I owned a RAM AIR V motor and a spare set of heads. The complete motor was bought at a dealership in New York that assemble it for the person who owned it before me. I believe there a few installed at dealerships without a warranty but never from the factory.
