please help

me pontiac 350 has the 6x heads. there are holes in the center of the heads, right above the intake that blows out hot air like exaust. is this supposed to happen. is there a crossover that goes there or is some thing wrong with my heads . been tryn to get this info for a while .

What ever you do dont put a chebby in it there's enuff of them already

Your intake dosent cover the exhaust crossover holes for the 6X heads

There are some methods of covering the holes some use JB Weld to fill the holes
Others molten alum
or epoxy

thanx for the info eric i was goin to take the motor out cause no one could tell me whats wrong with the heads. and it was goin to be a chevy. but i would rather keap it all pontiac. a may sell this chevy stuff i have and look for a 455 to beef up and drop in

I had the same problem last summer, JB Weld worked great on the heads to stop the exhaust leak.

Do you have a ho or Ram air intake nobody has asked you that yet?
