Looking for GTO / Lemans have questions

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in buying a classic muscle car. Don't want anything crazy, just something for the whole fam to enjoy. I'm looking at a 1969 Lemans/ GTO clone right now and am very interested. It's a convertable. The guy is asking $10,900. Here's the good and the bad

Engine; Competely rebuilt 400 with over 400HP, really nicely done, 1K miles
Trans: Just rebuilt TH 350
Rear: Brand New 4:10 Posi

Suspension: all new except steering might need some work

Body: Solid, some rust, bubbling, could use resto, but workable as is I give it a 5 out of 10.

Other: Brand new top and all mechanics, new stainless exhaust.

Wheels: crappy old craigars.

Is this car worth $10,900? I'm not worried about body or floor or even minor frame work (small patch otherwise very solid)

Please get back to me with thoughts, questions, advise, what to look for?

Is it a GTO or Lemans? If it is a Lemans, my feeling is that it is priced a bit steep. If it is truly a GTO, it may be in the ball park.

Thanks for the reply. It is a Lemans. The guy was convertng it over to be a GTO. It has the hood, nose, engine ect... All the sites tell me $11 to $14K. Can that be right. What would be your thoughts on value. There is over $10K in receipts for all the drive train work.
