69 Muncie bellhousing color?

69 Muncie bellhousing color?

I have a 1969 GTO with a Muncie M-20 transmission which I am rebuilding. Does anyone know what is the stock color of the bellhousing? Thanks.

I have been told that the original color for the bell housing is the natural aluminum...no paint.

All I have ever seen have no paint on them, and I have seen at least 100.
