69 Coupe & Conv Decklids

Simple question....Are the deck lids the same for a 69 two door GTO as they are for the 69 Convertible?

yes

NO they are not the convert deck lid is about 2 inch longer due to it not haveing the concave the Hard top has the converts are straight and longer
I have 68 convert a 68 HT RA and the deck lids are not the same and the 69 s are close to the 68s and can interchange w/ each other but a none convert can not use a convert deck lid Travis the pontiac guy

68's and 69's are different all together

Nope i also have a 69 lemans for a part's car and sorry to tell you but the numbers on the trunk are the same.....

68 and 69 trunk lids are different

I have had both 68's and 69's and they are different. Better check your lids again.

What is the difference? That will help me understand what I am really in need of...

I just measured the distance of the bottom edge on both a 68 GTO and a 69 GTO, tip-to-tip where the curves start over the tail lamps.

The 68 is 28", the 69 is 23-1/2".

yes yes I agree after looking at it the 69 the angle isnt the same also..
