can some one please tell me the exact differences in between the to ram airs?
I'm currently re-building a 1970 gto judge and we took out the 400 and put in a 455. I have the original build sheet but i want one of you experts to reiterate what i need.

If the build sheet for your judge doesn't list a ram air four engine, then it came from the factory with a ram air three engine. The RAIV was an incredible engine and only came with a 3:90 or 4:33 rear. The RAIV was stouter in all respects; the cam, pistons, heads, intake were all different.

RAIV engines have round port heads, aluminum intake with separate crossover, cam, crank, exhaust manifolds, etc. RAIII engines have D-port heads. I'm always looking to buy RAIV cars/parts/etc. Cash in hand!
