I just completed the disassembly on my 67 GTO. I was wondering what was the best way to restore the frame. Should I just sandblast and paint? I have heard that it can damage the surface and it's near impossible to remove all of the sand. Would it be better to chemically dip the frame, hot tank, and paint? Any disadvantages to this. I know there's probably lots of nasty rust and dirt inside the tubing where the sand can't reach and maybe this could. Also is powder coating better or just plain paint. Thanks.
