Two different customers came to with questions about their aftermarket truck wheels, they are pitted badly with a lot of black spots that would not come off with hours of scrubbing and several different approaches. If someone could tell me a product and/or a method of doing this, I would greatly appreaciate it. Thank you!by Jeff Ruetty - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts

I have detailed a 1995 Ferrari 348 Spyder (red) and it was in near perfect condition. I made sure that I didn't get nervous in fear that it would cause me to mess up. I started out with the Meguiars Step one cleaner by hand just to be safe. Then I applied the Step 2 polish and finished it of with Gold Class Wax. It was under many high powered floressant lights that showed every scratch,by Jeff Ruetty - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
I find it easier to use the do-it-yourself car wash in the winter to avoid the hassle of a hose. But, however, I do not use the brush. I use a wash mit and the soap from the brush or maybe a bucket and some Gold Class Soap. Then I hold the sprayer away from the car a bit to releive some of the pressure. Before I do any of the washing, I use the cheap tire degreaser and spray it on my tires anby Jeff Ruetty - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
I prefer to use Castrol's Tire Gloss. I have tried it all and it is a deep, rich shine that has a decent endurance. It is not the clear liquid but a white milky substance that has to just sit on the tire for 30 min or more, so it is not that fast but you will like it. Hope that you consider my advice.by Jeff Ruetty - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
