When the sun shines on my red car i see dark patches that look as though there is dirt ingrained into the paint. The car looks great until the sun gets on it then these patches appear usually on the large flat areas.Ive used Meguires body scrub but it doesnt seem to of moved them.It seems deep in the paint. Should i get the buffer out and use something more abrasive or should i keep applying the bby John M - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts

Hi everyone, ive managed to get hold of Meguires products at last.I got the Gold Class wax and the shine is beyond my imagination. The stuff is very easy to apply, smells great and shines like nothing ive ever used.Ive also got the Quik Wax to use in between the Gold Class and that too leaves one hell of a shine and is soooo easy to apply. On my rear spoiler the clearcoat has peeled in a couple of places.I was not wanting to start respraying so i wondered if there is anyway to disguise the peeling?I thought about a light wet sanding to flatten the clearcoat smooth then a good buffing but im unsure if this would make matters worse.Anyone had this problem before?by John M - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
Someone told me that a couple of coats of 3M handglaze on paint thats slightly faded will 'feed' the paint essential oils, after a cleaner has been used to bring the colour back that is.Is this true or false? Im in the middle of restoring the red paint (not clear coated) on my hot hatch and want as much info as possible on how to keep the paint gleaming after ive got the colour back.
