Listen to Bud, everyone! When I was still working, we had a subsidery operation, with a low of 20 employees to a high of 60. This was for new car prep for dealers and a few details. We paid a salary with raises based on performance and bonuses based on performance. Taxes were paid, work comp was paid, and we offered an insurance plan that was joint contribution. Bud, A little more resistant, but in the real world, without the marketing hype, not a "cure all". Turns to ammonia when dried. When water is reintroduced is when the smell becomes very strong. Since the O.T. uses water to carry it's active to the source, the urine smell will seem stronger at first, however if the area is properly wetted with the O/T. the odor is ate up and gone in an hour or so. I grew up working in my father's farm machinery and truck dealership in a small midwestern town. One of the buildings on the property was rented to a bodyshop. Exactly, someone presenting their "opinion" regarding an issue, with no valid facts to back up their opinion. No matter how much one may wish to devote to the detailing industry, there are several issues that must be accepted as they go forward. The first I would address is that much or most of the information you will obtain if from very independant operators who have "made some sort of success in their market place", dealing with a limited customer base, etc. Just because you receive &quby Grumpy2 - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
A couple of thing to be aware of. 1. OEM applied clears and base coats are of a different chemistry that "refinish" materials. 2. With OEM clears, while there may be 1.5 to 2.5 mil thickness, the "dense" portion at the top of the clear is only .5 mil and contains the largest percentage of the very important UV blockers. 3. Bill, any major vehicle manufacturer would welcome such a product, after they did their health and world wide safety testing. They would then assign a paint engineer to work with their paint suppliers to conduct very involved, protocal approved, tests. When I retired, I left all my chemical dictionarys, etc for Tim. Yup, think of a mirroe and burning ants. Not just UV"s, but also skin tempature of the paint surface and the "fractor point" of whatever wax/sealant is on the panel, makes a big difference in how long the wax/sealant will not evaporate off, etc. The more one can make the UV rays bounce off (relect) the less damage that may occur.by Grumpy2 - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts

I know Bud's Diamond Seal, been a competitor of it for years when still in the business. I know who blends and packages it for Detail Plus. It is a very good product, does what it needs to do. I am often asked by people I know in my community, since retiring, "what should I put on my car that I can buy locally?" Honestly, I tell them NuFinish Liquid. Ok, I understand your position on the acid components. However, allow me to present this question to you. What is the main and most damaging acid in "acid rain"? Is it not "sulfuric"?
