I stopped by my buddys after work to check out his 1968 GTO for the first time. I'm no GTO genius like Travis, but I have been doing alot research on this mystery 428 GTO and I have yet to find anything....I've checked books, internet, ect...and I can't seem to find one that exists. The best thing that could be done is send off your $35.00 to PHS and find out for sure what you have. Another thing, I find it rather funny how Travis' intelligence is insultaby David Wanichek - Pontiac GTO Forum
Dang guys!!! Are we gonna have to pull out the boxing gloves lol.....I'm no expert at all....and I'm not picking sides on this one....but from what I've read from all of Travis Williams' posts...which is daily....he sure knows alot about GTO's and his comments have helped me learn tremendous amounts of information concerning all years of GTO's. Thank you Travis!!!by David Wanichek - Pontiac GTO Forum
Hello everybody!!! I just have a quick question and would like some opinions. I have a 66 GTO Post Coupe which I want to restore and I was wondering which company(s) you would recommend for parts. I thought of going with Original Parts Group or Year One for body panels, ect...but I am very leary because I don't know how well things will line up with thier reproduction parts and the quality oby David Wanichek - Pontiac GTO Forum
You may also want to try www.collectorcartraderonline.com. Very nice website with alot of GTOs. You may find what you are looking for at a reasonable price and you may find one in the same state. Good luck in your search for a "Goat"!!by David Wanichek - Pontiac GTO Forum
Thanks for the info Travis!!! I'll give it a shot!! Only cost me $15.00 and the wires are guarenteed not to be cut or skinned and complete. Came out of a 66 Tempest with 53,000 miles on it!! Thanks again!!!by David Wanichek - Pontiac GTO Forum
I was just wondering if a underhood wiring harness from a 66 Tempest would work with a 66 GTO??? Does it matter since the Tempest was a column shift and the GTO floor??? Please let me know. Davidby David Wanichek - Pontiac GTO Forum
