<HTML>Regardless of the problems that wont be solved this forum might just have the worst format of any other forum on the net! Also there are some of the best versed detailers on the net that post here and an up to date format would greatly improve the ability to keep up with topics and increase post count. I rarely post here because I dont like to have to read through all the new posts iby 2rotorz - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
<HTML>Its not that the product changes its more like the part of the product that makes water bead is gone. The part that protects is still there. The fact is people believe their paint is protected because it beads and not protected if it doesnt. Here is an example, I have a client that has a burgany Escalade it gets washed every week but only waxed about every 6 months or so. But becausby 2rotorz - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
<HTML>Fresh paint will bead water as well if not better than just about any waxed ( painted ) surface. Beading isnt about the wax necessarilly its about surface tension. Just because a product doesnt bead doesnt mean its not protecting the surface. Some protection products are designed NOT to bead but to SHEET water from the surface reducing the chance of spotting or acid rain dammage tec.&by 2rotorz - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
<HTML>Ok, I looked at it and while it looks like it might be effective the video is so short its barly better than the picture to actually demonstrate the product. I would suggest at least a 1 min video showing how it would do half of a vehicle or something like that. What is the pricing on the air wand ?</HTML>by 2rotorz - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
<HTML>I havent looked at it or tried it yet but one advantagfe would be that you are touching the paint much less and therefore greatly reducing the chances of making micro scratches in the paint. I know this is a non issue if you are detailing the car but for car wasshes and maintenance of properly detailed vehicles it "could" be a bonus. Personally I blow the water out of the cby 2rotorz - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
<HTML>you might want to try a finer product than the swirl remover, or switch to the porter cable d/a polisher. some paints respond better to the pc for final finishing.</HTML>by 2rotorz - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
<HTML>looks like the rotary is the best method to cure your problems. Take its slow, tape off mouldings, edges and mask anywhere you dont want to sling product. Then again if you are not comfortable with a rotary I would suggest having someone experienced ( with the rotary ) take care of it for you. Good luck</HTML>by 2rotorz - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
<HTML>hmm looks like brian vs brian :-) Frank are you saying my post on meguairs is any different that brian's on here? <HTML>"Consider that the auto manufacturers do not demand that a certain brand of motor oil or transmission fluid, etc is used in the car. Why then would they demand that a certain wax or sealant be used" _______________________________________________________ Because there are laws that help to stop things like that. <HTML>They can easily just not issue a license for you to do business in the city. That in its-self would put you in violation, not fair but they could do it if they want. There is one city by me that practices this option.</HTML>by 2rotorz - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
<HTML>I cant ever ease up, there is no reason. If you like their info great, if not thats great too. I don't think that was all that harsh. I only call them as I see them. And I knew if I was to ask about the test his product would coincidentally be in the top spot. If all his stuff were nowhere on the chart it wouldn't have been mentioned. <HTML>If the shine is good, and it goes on smooth and all that why would you care if it covers swirls or not? Arent we detailing professionals ? Shouldnt swirls be removed before we are waxing anyways? Personally I like NXT but I always properly prepare all my work before waking anyway. As far as the other wax mentioned I believe it is #26 and they are not the same products. I just loveby 2rotorz - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts

First set your screen to how big you want the page to look good at and then ajust the table size so eveything fits. <HTML>honestly the ammount of watts doesnt tell how loud the unit will be. That will depend on the engine and the muffler system used. One thing I will point out is you are going to have a VERY hard time running anextractor off a 3000 watt generator. I have a 3500 watt and it barely keeps up. And my extractor is a single cord unit.</HTML>by 2rotorz - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
<HTML>Wow that was a sad reply. why pull out the buffer when its not needed? Why use any tool for the job except the one best suited for the job at hand? Do you use a rotary to apply wax? To do a light polish ? I just dont understand a closed minded responce like that. Do you think you cant time and cost effectivly remove a swirl with a d/a? I do it all the time and I can guarantee I am vby 2rotorz - Auto Detailing: Secrets of the Experts
<HTML>I have to disagree with bud on this regarding the d/a, if we are talking orbital such as what you buy at sears I do agree, but the D/A can remove swirls. I do it all the time. It can will and does polish very well. Now I am not saying it can do what a rotary does because it cant but it is capable of polishing light scratches, light buffer swirls and polishing the paint.
